Timeless
If you were a photon, wearing a wristwatch, your wristwatch would never tick. From birth to death it’s an instant. Though for others watching you hundreds of thousands of years may have passed. Time is relative to the observer. When the observer approaches speed of light, time slows down. At the speed of light it stops. And at greater than speed of light it reverses. That is to say what we say as cause and effect happen in reverse. But in that world, that is the norm. So one would never know. That anything is amiss. If you are a photon leaving the sun and reaching the retina of an earthling, the 9 minute journey seen by the earthling is instantaneous for you. You cover 90 million miles in zero time. Souls are like that. Timeless. Time doesn’t tick for them. Time is like a picture.
